Two Exhibitions are held every year.

Queens Gardens
in the second weekend of January. This is an open air exhibition at the Hardy St end of the gardens with up to 40 artists exhibiting.

Club Waimea
in June. An indoor exhibition with several of the best works from about 40 artists over three days.

­ These are a great opportunity to display and sell art works.
Regular monthly meeting
First Wednesday of the month, 7:30pm - 9:30pm, Nick Smith's rooms, at the corner of Waimea Road and Quarantine Road, Wakatu, Nelson.­ (No meeting in January. July & August meetings start at 2pm)

­Monthly meetings take the form of a social evening with perhaps a Guest Speaker on an art-related topic, a hands-on creative session led by an experienced artist, helpful discussion of members work, or a video of some art form.
The evenings conclude with tea or coffee and a biscuit and the opportunity to talk to other members.

­Painting Day
Monthly Open Painting Days offer members the opportunity to get together to paint and share ideas and knowledge; these are from 9.30am to 12.30 pm. A charge of $3 contributes towards costs. Details in the monthly newsletter.

Tutorial Day
Tutorial workshops are held each month from 9.30am to 3.30pm with experienced professional artists. A charge appropriate to the particular workshop applies. Advance information is given in the monthly newsletter." 

Left Bank Nelson
Painting by the Maitai River behind Millers Acre. Saturday mornings. You must be painting and can have finished paintings for sale. Summer months only.

Teapot Valley
Tutorial weekend.
